8vo.(5.25" x 8.375") 2 of 2 of set. Bound by Zaehnsdorf for A.C. McClurg. Full tan polished calf with gilt rule framing boards. Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands, gilt title/author to red leather in second compartment, gilt vol# to green leather in the third, all others with heavy gilt decoration and a gilt floral device centered to each compartment, gilt year at foot on red leather. All edges yellowed, marbled endpapers, thick gilt turn-ins. Corners lightly bumped and rubbed. Prior owners name/date in black ink neatly to first free endpaper. Spine lightly sunned with minor scuffs. A beautiful set of books.
