Joh nahm es an in der Absicht, die Liste vor der Veröffentlichung gründlich durchschen und ergänzen zu lassen. Einige Zeit darauf hork ich von Prof. Ebeling, dass er die geographischen overmen in seinem Reallexikon der Assyriologie, so mit möglich, vollständig aufgu. führen gedenke. Um also nicht dieselbe langwierige Arbeit zweimal serrichten zu lassen, musste auf die gründliche Durcharbeitung und begänzung des clan, verzichtet werden. Da aber die offenber sehr fleissig und sorgfältig ausgearbeitete Liste vielen xecht nützliche dienste lusten kann, entschloss ich mich, das cthen, so zu veröffentlichen, wie es lag. Folio (8.5" x 12"), handsomely bound in full greenish-brown calf, with the spine faded to a lighter green-brown. The spine features five gilt panels, with the title in the second compartment and the author in the fourth, along with manuscript notation. The title page has a small tear. The binding has bumped corners, with the upper right corner rounded.

An interesting scholarly volume for collectors of Assyro-Babylonian, Arabic, and Egyptian studies, ancient geography, and early 20th-century Oriental scholarship.
