Poems by Phillips Stephen. 1901. London and New York: John Lane. 8vo (4.75x7.5") 108 pp. Half green crushed Morocco with generous corners, bright gilt rule to all leather edges, over marbled boards. Spine with two gilt decorated raised bands, gilt lettering to second compartment, gilt floral decoration to rest of spine, gilt 1901 at foot. Top edge gilt, marbled endpapers. Armorial bookplate of Laurence Hardy to front pastedown. Signed binding by Truslove & Hanson. Very minor (almost none) edgewear, spine sun-faded to a pleasing brown (see pic). Light foxing to first and last two leaves. A beautifully bound book by Truslove & Hanson.
