- 8vo.(5.5" x 9") 256 pp with large (30.5" x 34.5") folding map at rear. Full brown cloth with gilt lettering to upper board and spine. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed with tiny loss to rear lower tip. Front hinge spilt with tears in several places, still secure. Front and rear free endpapers and pastedowns heavily toned, spots of foxing found intermittently throughout. Covers stained, spine sun-faded, upper board heavily sun-faded with dark strip to fore-edge and foot. Head and foot of spine ruffled with tiny closed tears to foot. Presentation certificate to front pastedown, given to Hon. J.D. Frederick with Compliments of Thomas P. Janes, Commissioner of Agriculture (and author).
