Period brown mottled calf boards, rebacked with brown 7 compartment spine, endpapers renewed. Corners bumped and rubbed on original boards, with tiny loss. With engraved portrait and additional engraved title-page, [10], 286, 289-371, [1], 331-553, [1] pp. (complete, despite odd pagination.) A clean and bright copy overall with some occasional light or small stains in places; a few early ink notes to margins. Boards/corners with some light scuffs/chips.
