- 8vo.(5.5" x 8.25") Seven volumes, Vols.XIII-XIX, 1870-1876. Each approx. 376 pp. Full green cloth with blindstamp rule framing both boards, upper board with gilt wreath framing gilt lettering, rear in blind. Yellow endpapers to most, some volumes with speckled red edges. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed, some through to boards. Head and foot of spine fraying, chipped with small loss. Some hinges starting with visible mesh, but still secure. Extremities and some boards rubbed one volume having tears to joints repaired. Some volumes with bookplate of Samuel A.D. Sheppard to front pastedown with library stamp of Massachusetts College of Pharmacy to pastedowns, title page. Some volumes with old ink ownership to first free endpaper. All volumes with 12 beautiful color plates, one per month of publication for each of the years represented for a total of 84 colored plates for this run. A beautiful set of books.
