- 8vo.(5.75" x 7.625") Limited Weimar Edition #277/500. 14 volumes complete. Half red leather with generous corners over marbled boards. Upper board features a large armorial gilt eagle to upper left corner of each volume. Spine with five raised bands, gilt lettering to second and fourth compartments, large floral gilt device centered to all other compartments, gilt "Weimar Edition" to foot of spine. Top edge gilt, others deckled, marbled endpapers. Edgewear, some corners bumped, all rubbed, some through to boards. Head and foot of spine of most of the volumes chipped, nine of the volumes professionally reapired (see pic). Evidence of professional hinge and gutter repair to several volumes (see pic), making for a good looking set. Illustrated with 55 plates and 13 of 14 frontispieces, 4 of them hand-colored.
