8vo.(5.625" x 8.75") Quarter brown polished calf with corners, double bindstamp rule to all leather edges, over marbled boards. Spine with five gilt decorated raised bands, two gilt titles to gilt rule bordered black leather to second compartment, two remaining titles to gilt rule bordered black leather in third compartment, large blindstamp floral device centered to each other compartment with blindstamp rule borders to each, fancy gilt rule to head and foot of spine. All edges marbled. Edgewer, corners bumped and rubbed with small loss to three tips, covers rubbed and scuffed with loss of marbled paper to foot of upper board. Egregious pencil scribbling to rear pastedown and endpaper, less evident repair to rear board at gutter. A Unique book, four different titles, four different authors, from four different years, all bound together in one binding. An attractive spine if one wishes to decorate with it.
