- 4to.(7.5" x 11") 31 bound and 12 laid in US Patent Office Publications assigned to of invented by William Adamson. Illustrated with 25 accompanying drawings. Quarter brown leather with corners over marbled boards. Marbled endpapers, deckled pages. Spine with five raised bands, gilt lettering to second compartment. Edgewear, corners bumped and rubbed with small loss to tips. Head and foot of spine scuffed and rubbed. Covers scuffed and rubbed with loss of leather surface to board extremities and corner leather. Neatly written in old ink to the reverse of the first free endpaper is: "This Book is the property of Wm. Adamson 730 Marketstreet Philadelphia, Please return without delay, 1877"
